Every year, Deer Park holds it's Settler's Day Parade on the 4th Saturday of July, and every year, you'll see the Faith Lutheran float in that parade, loaded with kids and adults ready for an exciting week of VBS.

The week following the parade, we open our doors to all children who would like to join us in learning about God's love and have a super fun time while doing it!  With music, crafts, games, snack, and Bible stories, it's an action packed 3 hours each day!  Our theme changes from year to year, but our fun and learning about God's love are everlasting.

All children from age 3 through 6th grade are welcome to attend.  VBS runs from 9 a.m. to Noon, Mon-Fri the week after the parade.  Thanks to the Loon Lake Food Bank, we are also able to provide lunch for all children at no cost.  Any child age 18 and under is welcome for this lunch.

Jr. High and High School students are MOST welcome to come and help out.  They can even earn community service hours for use at school or in other groups they may be a part of.

Preschoolers meet in their own classroom all week for both fun and safety's sake.  All preschoolers must be able to use the restroom independently (potty-trained), and must be able to follow group activities in order to attend.  Some kids this age find that one or two days is plenty, while others never want to leave!  If that's the case, be sure to check out our Precious Little Lambs Preschool where the fun and learning can last all year!

There is no cost to attend our VBS.  This is our gift to the children of our community.  You can help us though, by coming to our annual Rummage Sale held each May.  There's always a treasure or two to be found, and it's this sale that funds all our Christian Education programs.  Hope to see you there, AND at VBS!
